Life Science Innovation event format on Single Cell Analysis continues: Single Cell Technologies and their Fields of Application (Tumor Cells)

This webinar’s topic will be the application of diagnostic leukapheresis (DLA) – a technology developed in Dusseldorf. DLA enables the clinically safe recovery of large numbers of viable and intact circulating tumor cell (CTC) populations from cancer patients, facilitating their comprehensive molecular and functional cancer cell characterization.

With ‘Trends in Single Cell Analysis #2’ the University Hospital Düsseldorf, LifeScienceNet Düsseldorf and Life Science Center Düsseldorf will continue the event format ‘Life Science Innovation’, which provides insights into innovative research topics and current developments in Dusseldorf and NRW.

Single cell analysis allows the generation of comprehensive and precise data on the molecular composition and functional potential of individual cells. Precision medicine and targeted therapies as well as liquid biopsy and single cell analytics are the focus of current translational research. These technologies offer great potential not only for basic research, but also for medical and biotechnological applications.

The invited speakers from academia and companies will give an overview on the use of DLA and CTCs in clinical and translational CTC-research.

The online event will be held on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
It will be presented in English. Participation is free of charge.
